Passat door locks keep clicking.
1 our passat locks the doors as soon it crosses above 10 mph.
If the door lock actuators fail they will disable the power door lock feature from working.
One door lock is not working.
The door locks on both sides click most of the time when i stop turn a corner etc.
Another symptom of a potential problem with the door lock actuators are power door locks that do not function.
Ok so i ve had the b7 since oct last year i ve posted a thred about the rear 2 locks keep auto locking every time i go under 10mph but now i found out that my drivers door is also not even locking so my car has been sitting open all that time lol at firt i thought it s the comfort easy acces option like the one that you don t need to click the remote but just get close to the car and it lets.
That would be normal if it happened once a trip.
It sounds like the noise is coming from the rear locks.
What have you tried so far.
When one door has the locking issue it is likely an issue within the door.
If there is a problem within the car s ecm computer that s causing your door locks to fail a check engine light will usually illuminate on the dash.
A retired vw mechanic friend said that rear passenger door mechanism may be shorting out.
You will then need to scan the ecm with a handheld scanner to read the code.

What s strange is it does this every time it goes above 10 mph so in a parking lot the rear door locks are repeatedly clicking each time the car slows and speeds up.
This will require the driver to use the key to lock or unlock the doors and can disable the power door.
