So i got mine built tested and working with wemos d1 mini pro until i tried to reconnect the wires to the wall button near the door wired button that co me with the garage door opener. I ve started a garage door project using a photon a relay shield an internet button and an iphone or several. In addition i am creating some particle variables and functions so i can a monitor the status location of the door and b send the photon button press commands from the particle console cli command line. When wired together the wall button doesn t receive power or open or close the garage door.

This will allow you to know what state the garage door is in closed door opening open door closing instead of just closed or open. The wifi on the photon is causing some noise and not allowing our garage door opener to work. Also i would be willing to help anyone that is interested in doing this at their home. I just found out that the garage door project is interfering with the car garage door buttons.
