Only Drivers Door Lock Works

The alarm is working fine.

Only drivers door lock works.

This seems to be a huge issue with w202 s and something that many of you will also deal with. So the rest of the car locks fine remotely and the drivers door lock stays up. I have a 2013 kia soul the power door locks do not work only the drivers door. My driver s side door lock stopped working.

As a side note when all doors are. It appears that there are no broken or cracked wires. I have to manually press it down which is a pain in the ass. All other doors lock unlock just fine.

This results in all the doors locking but only the drivers door unlocking. Inserting a key into the drivers door does nothing the lock just spins round like it isn t catching anything.

There is not keyed lock on the passanger side door. The lights and dome light work like they are supose to. I know it could be the actuator but also some other things have gone wrong i just don t know what those might be or what to test. The lock works when i use the key in the keyhole.

Turned to lock and all doors locked and horn cherped. This problem occurs when an internal part of the car computer fusebox under the drivers dash burns out. If the door locks work with the driver door switch then this is probably not an electrical problem and more along the lines of an options setting. Tryed the key in the driver side door and turned once and the driver side door unlocked and then turned twice and all doors unlocked.

One by door and one answered by a verified kia mechanic. Only the driver door has this problem.
